last night I had to replace my cable modem. I changed the ip
addresses where I thought they needed to be changed (no-ip, router,
etc) I validated ports were set correctly (as far as I can tell).
I did that with a port scan from SBBS. Only ports that failed were
SSH, gopher, ident, nntp, https, and ircs-u. IRC is working as shown
on SBBS console services. BBS is on a VM. Telnet is working
apparently from outside, but not from my computer syncterm. Rlogin
is also not working from syncterm to the bbs. pop3 and smtp are also
not working from the web as evidenced by no activity. Anyone have
an idea as to why these are not working? Thanks in advance

    Greg

you are behind a firewall and/or you made a mistake.
you didnt give us any information except you 'replaced your cable modem'.

contact your isp and see if you can enable passthrough mode.
